Tracking Gluten-Free Restaurants with myPlanit

When you have specific dietary restrictions like being gluten-free, finding restaurants that not only cater to your specific need, but take the extra step to make sure whatever options are available actually taste like ‘food’ can sometimes be challenging. For the past month, I’ve been using myPlanit to keep track of which restaurants offer tasty gluten-free meal options, which has not only come in handy when choosing local restaurants, but has been a life-saver when traveling.

Here’s how myPlanit has helped me remember where I can get a decent gluten-free meal:

  1. Since myPlanit automatically records all the places I visit, I have an easy way to recall where I’ve eaten that offers gluten-free options. After eating there, I pull up the location in the app and tag it with gluten free and can add in any notes about my gluten free experience eating there.

  2. If I want to see my collection of gluten-free restaurants later on, I can press the recall button, and do a tag search for gluten-free. As I start to tag more and more restaurants with that same tag, I have an alphabetical list of all the gluten-free restaurants I’ve been to, plotted on a map by location.
